Nicki Minaj Claims Late Concert Start In Montreal Was Due To This Malicious Reason

As is expected for any massive trek, Nicki Minaj’s Pink Friday 2 world tour hasn’t been without its hiccups here and there. Still, she and her team have been able to work through them gracefully and effectively, leading to overall praised performances and a consistent run that’s been able to handle technical and logistical problems well. However, the Trinidadian superstar insinuated on Twitter on Wednesday night (April 17) that something more malicious was taking place to “sabotage” her concerts. For those unaware, she arrived later than expected at her Montreal show that night due to flight delays and cancellations, plus processes upon arrival that she explains in the tweet below.

“Yesterday my flight scheduled for midnight shut their plane down @ 12:58pm,” Nicki Minaj tweeted. “Never in 15 years have I heard of anything like that. A 70K G4 and thought we were going to PAY THEM for that flight as well as whatever flight I’d have to get on next. They thought wrong.

“Today, we asked if we could leave at 1pm,” Nicki Minaj continued. “They said no, we could leave at 3pm. Then they said that won’t work, we’d need to leave at 5pm. ?!?!!!!! Yup. For a 930pm show in Canada. When we got to the plane, they then said they were ‘STILL FUELING’. At 630pm, they said they were ‘still fueling’ (for an hour & a half flight) When we did get to Canada, they did a bunch of stuff they didn’t do the last 2 times I came for the OVO FEST. Young Thug has been going through an incredibly tough time due to the YSL Rico Trial. Overall, this has been a strenuous trial that is not going as planned. Although the state believes it has a solid case, it could take years to fully present. In fact, there are some analysts who believe that this trial could go all the way until 2027. That would be extremely unfortunate, and would take up a whole lot of time. However, that seems to be the progression of things right now, and fans will just have to sit tight as this plays out.

So far, Thugger hasn’t gotten a ton of visitors in court. While his family has shown up from time to time, his artist friends have been fairly quiet. Thankfully, that trend officially came to an end on Wednesday as Quavo was in court for the trial. Quavo and Young Thug have made a ton of tracks together in the past, so it only makes sense that he would show up for his friend in need. In fact, Young Thug seemed pretty moved by the gesture, as he was all smiles once he saw the former Migo.

Furthermore, there were details that a wardrobe malfunction took place during the arrest. Even Damian Lillard’s ex-wife weighed in on the whole thing, making this that much more serious. Ultimately, fans are confused as to what really went down, and of course, some are just straight up disappointed. After all, you can easily hurt someone by driving under the influence.

Unfortunately, it appears as though GloRilla doesn’t see the seriousness in what went down. According to The Neighborhood Talk, following her arrest, she took to Twitter where she posted a photo of herself with a Taylor Port bottle. Considering what she was arrested for, this came across as extremely distasteful. Although the tweet has since been deleted, fans are very much unimpressed with what they saw, and they have been making those feelings known.

SMH,” said another. Needless to say, a lot of fans are extremely upset about this, and it is understandable as to why. At this time, Glo has yet to make an official comment on the arrest. Only time will tell if she apologizes.

Last night, we reported that Kanye West had become a suspect in an alleged assault that took place on Wednesday evening in Los Angeles. Overall, this was a huge story, although fans were not sure what to make of it. It was said that Bianca Censori had been grabbed, which subsequently led to Ye’s alleged actions. However, Yeezy Chief of Staff Milo Yiannopoulos came out and said that the situation was much different than what was reported. As he explains, Censori was sexually assaulted as a man tried to grab under her dress, while also blowing kisses.

“A stranger grabbed Bianca’ is grossly inadequate as a description of what happened. Bianca was physically assaulted,” Milo wrote. “The assailant didn’t merely collide into her. He put his hands under her dress, directly on her body, he grabbed her waist, he spun her around, and then he blew her kisses. She was battered and sexually assaulted.”
